Cynthia obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois in 1988 and graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 1991. She began her law career working at the American Bar Foundation in Chicago, and later at the Law Office of Robert W. Burnett, where she practiced in various areas of law but primarily family law in Cook, DuPage, Kane, McHenry, and Will counties. She has been managing a solo practice with a focus on family law in Champaign County and surrounding counties since the mid-1990's. Cynthia also practices in the areas of personal injury, traffic, and real estate. If you are seeking representation outside of these areas, she will be happy to assist you in finding appropriate legal counsel.
